Elaf Selim - Gathered in Light

Oil & Mixed Media on Gallery Canvas

Gathered in Light' celebrates the quiet abundance of a garden in bloom.

Layers of pale blush, lavender, blue, coral, and warm cream come together in an expressive bouquet, with flashes of colour appearing between translucent petals and loose, gestural brushstrokes.

There is something joyful about this gathering of flowers, perhaps a sense of fullness without excess, of beauty arriving all at once.

A painting about allowing yourself to receive the light, and little moments of beauty that surround you.
