Collection: Nadine Baker
Nadine Baker has been a resident with her family in Kingston, Ontario, for 23 years.
As former Director of the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning and Chair of the City of Kingston’s Arts Advisory Committee, her dedication to supporting and participating in the local arts scene runs deep.
Trained professionally as an illustrator and visual artist in Toronto, with a graduate business degree, Nadine’s passion and advocacy for the arts sector has now come full circle.
Since retirement from arts management, she has happily returned to her roots as a full-time artist, working primarily with acrylic paints, coloured pencil and watercolours. From her ‘Wonder Room’ she creates fresh and dynamic work motivated by her joyful and peaceful approach to life in Southeastern Ontario and her global adventures. With each piece, she aims to honour the everyday beauty that surrounds us by showcasing the wonder and versatility of these mediums.
