Collection: Danielle Beaulieu

Danielle Beaulieu, an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists, finds inspiration for her watercolors in quiet corners. Whether it's a beautiful landscape, a flower or an antique, she always wonders what stories they would tell if these objects could talk.

Many people have stored common objects, such as those made of crystal and silver. There were often passed on to them by previous generations. These hold mysterious knowledge patiently waiting to be revealed. Danielle likes to give them a renewed life.

Accurately capturing reflective surfaces can be one of the biggest challenges facing an artist.

Danielle seems to have developed a connection to painting certain things. One of the things that she mostly enjoys is the challenge of rendering different surfaces, conveying her fascination with the interplay of light and reflections.

Recently she was featured in Arabella Magazine.
